The AusMedtech Student Ambassador Program offers a unique opportunity for students to gain real-world experience, connect with industry leaders, and contribute to Australia’s leading medical technology conference.
As a Student Ambassador, you will support the AusBiotech team in delivering a seamless event while gaining firsthand insight into the medtech sector and expanding your professional network.

About the Program
The Student Ambassador Program is designed for motivated students looking to develop practical skills, enhance their industry exposure, and engage with experts shaping the future of medtech. Ambassadors will have behind-the-scenes access to conference sessions, exhibitions, and networking opportunities, providing valuable insight into the industry.
In Partnership with the Victorian Medtech Skills and Devices Hub (VMH)
This program is delivered in partnership with the Victorian Medtech Skills and Devices Hub (VMH), who aim to accelerating the growth of Victoria’s medical technology sector by developing new training pathways and deepening the skillset of the medtech workforce.
Through this partnership, accepted Victorian applicants will receive a minimum stipend to contribute to travel expenses after the event, thanks to VMH.
Ambassador Responsibilities
Successful applicants will be assigned to key event areas, including:
Registration Kiosks – Assisting with attendee registration and providing general event information.
Exhibition – Providing directional guidance and general assistance within the exhibition hall.
AusPartnering – Supporting meeting room logistics and providing assistance with the platform.
Session Rooms – Assisting with speaker coordination and session logistics.
Program Benefits

A one-year AusBiotech student membership to continue engaging with the industry.
Certificate of appreciation recognising your contribution.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, students must meet the following criteria:
Be over 18 years old.
Be enrolled in an Australian university or TAFE course.
Be a current or imminent AusBiotech student member.
Be available for the full conference duration, from Tuesday, 6 May to Thursday, 8 May 2025.
Attend a mandatory training session on Tuesday, 6 May 2025.
Be responsible for arranging and funding their own travel and accommodation, if required.
