AusBiotech is Australia’s life sciences peak body. For 40 years, we have worked to support the growth of our more than 3,000 members as they advance breakthroughs in medical science and develop new innovations to help solve some of Australia’s and the world’s most complex health challenges.

As a super-connector event, Australia’s Biggest Week in Biotech drives critical domestic conversations within our industry, boosting collaboration, informing policy, and creating long-term partnerships that enable Australia’s life sciences ecosystem to thrive.
From 2026, AusMedtech will be held alongside the AusBiotech International Conference, creating an unparalleled gathering of industry leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs and researchers. The expected growth in international attendance extends industry partnership potential, global interest and the development and commercialisation of home-grown innovation. One registration provides access to both AusMedtech Gold Coast and the AusBiotech International Conference.
AusMedtech on the Gold Coast will take place from 21–22 October 2026 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. The AusBiotech International Conference runs from October 21-23 2026, with Site Tours on October 20 and Satellite events all week, from the 19th to the 23rd of October.
