Regulatory affairs and health economics workshop

AusMedtech, the national industry group representing the medical devices and diagnostics industry sector in Australia, invites you to attend the Regulatory Affairs and Health Economics Workshop at AusMedtech 2017 & ICMMB 2017.
 
While Australia boasts a strong market for developing medical technology, yet the landscape is complex and dynamic. This workshop will explore this landscape, presenting current trends and emerging issues that may affect organisations operating in the medical device industry.
 
The AusMedtech Regulatory Affairs Expert Panel will lead the morning session, focusing on the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)’s Medicines and Medical Devices Review (MMDR), changes in the European Union (EU) and provide an overview of risk classification.
 
The Health Economics Workshop will allow participants to have a broad understanding of the principles of health economics, understand common terms and the major types of economic evaluation.  This will be followed by a session outlining the Australian reimbursement framework and the economic, clinical and policy requirements for reimbursement of medical technology with reference to the latest policy development.
 
During the registration process, you can decide to attend the morning session only, the afternoon session only or the full day workshop.
